CampusLoop LLC ("CampusLoop," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our website, mobile experience, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

- Account information: Name, email address (including your college .edu email address), campus, username, password, and similar registration details.
- Profile information: Optional profile details such as display name, avatar image, bio, or similar information you choose to add.
- Listing information: Photos, title, description, price, category, campus, and other details you include when creating a listing.
- Messages and communications: Messages between users, support requests, abuse reports, and similar communications sent through or about the Service.
- Support and feedback: Your name, email, campus, and the contents of communications you send to us.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages viewed, searches, listings viewed or interacted with, clicks, favorites, timestamps, and similar usage activity.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device information, referral URLs, and error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Cookies, local storage, and similar tools used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, understand how the Service is used, and improve your experience.
- Analytics data: Information gathered through analytics tools to understand performance, diagnose issues, and improve features.
c. Payment and billing information
When you purchase paid features, payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers. We may receive limited payment information such as transaction date, payment status, billing identifiers, and the last four digits of a card where provided by the processor.

- With your direction or consent: We may share information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.
We may also use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support safety and security reviews. - Listings and content: You may be able to edit or delete listings and other content you posted, subject to retention needed for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

- Cookies: You may be able to adjust browser settings to block certain cookies, though some features may not function properly if you do.

Notice regarding "sale" or "sharing"
CampusLoop does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way we believe would require an opt-out under applicable law. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to help protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for choosing a strong password, keeping your credentials confidential, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for adults who are college or university students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services that are not operated by CampusLoop. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy or security practices. Review their policies before providing them information.

CampusLoop is primarily intended for use in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
