Accessibility

Last updated: 19/09/2026

CampusLoop is meant to work for every student on campus — including students who browse with a keyboard instead of a mouse, who use a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA, who enlarge text, who cannot easily distinguish certain colours, or who prefer reduced motion.

What we are working toward

CampusLoop is working toward Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab) and is continually improving accessibility. That standard is our engineering target for text contrast, keyboard operation, focus visibility, form labelling, tap-target size and page structure, and we check new work against it as we build.

Where we actually are

We are not making a conformance claim. Testing with real assistive technology is still under way, so we are not stating that CampusLoop conforms — fully or partially — to WCAG, and we are not stating that it complies with the ADA, Section 508 or any other law. We would rather tell you what we have actually done and what we know is still missing.

Recent work: we raised text and control contrast across the app, gave every form field a proper label, made keyboard focus visible on every control, added a skip link, and made dialogs keyboard-operable with Escape and trapped focus.

Known gaps we are tracking:

  • We have not finished testing every page with a screen reader, so some announcements may be unclear or missing.
  • A few small controls and dense metadata rows are below the tap target and text sizes we want on the narrowest phones.
  • We have not covered every screen reader and browser combination our students use, and some older pages have had less review than the ones students use most.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on CampusLoop is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to hear about it — it is the fastest way for us to find and fix real problems. You do not need to know the technical cause.

Email support@campusloopapp.com and, if you can, tell us:

  • the page or screen you were on;
  • what you were trying to do, and what happened instead;
  • the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using, if you know them.

This inbox is monitored and we aim to reply within five business days. If a report identifies a barrier that blocks you from using CampusLoop, we will treat fixing it as a priority and tell you when it ships.
